Local church training is an essential component to growth and evangelism. Ephesians 4:16 -17 is a beautiful picture of God’s desire for His church. With Jesus as our head – “from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective work by which every part does its share…edifying itself in love.”
The Illinois Conference is committed to help our local churches grow and flourish. It is God's desire that churches are healthy disciple-making centers and that souls are "added to the church." (Acts 2:47). The Ministerial Department is willing to assist local churches with areas of mission and vision casting, needs assessment, and training for revitalization. Upon invitation, a Church revitalization Team will establish times to meet with your church. This initiative will be launched in 2021.
